Fit for royalty, the Wedding Pavilion’s design harmonizes with the turn of the century, Victorian architecture of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Mike Strickland was able to capture the magic of Martina and John’s special Wishes Wedding.
Although Mike began his career at Walt Disney World as an actor in 1980, after formal training in photography he was selected to be part of the opening of the Disney Fine Art Studio in 1992. Since then he has photographed people from all over the world. His work has been featured in Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, People Magazine and Photo District News and has appeared on Lifetime Television’s Weddings of a Lifetime. Mike considers every bride unique so every photo shoot should be as well. Through conversations with the couple, Mike blends his style with their vision to provide images that are intimate and with a timeless feel.
On its own island surrounded by the serene waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion provides a perfect indoor ceremony site with views of Cinderella Castle.
